Military Times to Honor 2017 Service Members of the Year
‘Everyday heroes’ to be recognized for going above and beyond the call of duty
VIENNA, Va – Military Times will recognize winners of the 2017 Service Members of the Year (SMOY) awards on Capitol Hill this week. The publisher of Army Times, Marine Corps Times, Navy Times, and Air Force Times, honors five everyday heroes — a Soldier, Marine, Sailor, Airman and Coast Guardsman — who demonstrate pride, dedication and courage beyond their call of duty. These service members display a high level of professionalism, concern for fellow service members and commitment to community service.
