Military Times’ Leo Shane named one of HillVets’ 100 of 2016
Leo Shane, Military Times’ Capitol Hill and White House reporter was recently named one of HillVets’ 100 under the media category. Shane was among five from the media who were recognized for their reporting on VA and veterans’ experiences. He joins the ranks of Secretary of Defense James Mattis, General Joseph Dunford and Senator Tammy Duckworth as one of the most influential and impactful individuals from 2016.
Shane’s reporting has brought key veterans’ issues in the spotlight while also keeping public and government officials accountable. He is an award-winning Military and Veterans Affairs reporter whose work has drawn national recognition from policy leaders, other media outlets and troops themselves.
