Kimberly Dozier joins Military Times as senior managing editor

ARLINGTON, VA., February 23, 2023 – Sightline Media Group is pleased to announce Kimberly Dozier is joining Military Times’ editorial team as a senior managing editor, where she will focus on breaking news.

Prior to joining Military Times, Dozier was a contributor to TIME Magazine, Rolling Stone, and The Daily Beast, reporting on national security, foreign policy, and military affairs. A former CBS News correspondent, she is also a CNN Global Affairs Analyst.

“We’re excited to welcome Kim to Sightline,” said Mike Gruss, editor in chief of Sightline Media Group. “Her experience and reputation will help us provide readers with in-depth coverage of the news they count on us for.”

In her new role, Dozier will lead the rapid response team which includes Military Times’ coverage from Capitol Hill and the Pentagon as well as help oversee the Early Bird Brief and Observation Post.

Dozier will be based in Washington, D.C. Her first day was Feb. 21.
