Arlington, VA., August 2, 2021 – Sightline Media Group, the parent company of Defense News and Army Times, and the Association of the United States Army announced an agreement making Sightline the publisher of the official, exclusive show daily for Association of the United States Army Annual Meeting 2021. Defense News/Army Times have been the official publishers of the show daily since 2014.

This year, the Defense News/Army Times AUSA Show Daily will once again be published for each of the three days of the show – Oct. 11, 12, and 13. It will be distributed to the thousands of Army decision-makers, soldiers and civilians who attend the prestigious annual event at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, District of Columbia.

Defense News, C4ISRNET, and Army Times will be responsible for reporting, writing and producing all content for the show dailies, arranging printing and distribution, and securing advertising and sponsorship sales for the AUSA show dailies. “Sightline’s award-winning journalists are primed to take on this effort once again and ready to keep readers up-to-date on the latest happenings with the Army and the Defense Department at this year’s show” said Mike Gruss, editor-in-chief of Sightline Media Group.

“AUSA is thrilled to continue working with Defense News, Army Times, and C4ISRNET. Sightline brings a unique global perspective and multimedia capabilities. Their unmatched audience reach and trust factors are perfectly aligned to cover North America’s largest defense exposition,” said Alex Brody, Director of Meetings for AUSA.

In addition to the print and digital show dailies, Sightline Media Group will also produce breakfast events at the show, conduct roundtable discussions, distribute a daily email outlook each morning, as well as compile an overall digital recap page after the event. New SMB advertising opportunities have also been added to Sightline’s suite of products available for sponsorship.
