Sandboxx is a platform with 1.5 million users that helps keep military families connected. With this partnership advertisers will now have access to Sandboxx ad inventory when they purchase media solutions on Sightline’s portfolio brands which includes Military Times.
Military Times is a unit of Sightline Media Group and includes Army Times, Navy Times, Marine Corps Times, and Air Force Times, as well as Defense News and other market leading media brands. Sandboxx is a tech start-up that operates an app that allows family members to send custom letters to recruits at basic training, deployed units or any military address around the world.
The partnership between these two companies provides a powerful ability for advertisers to reach a wide range of military consumers from the beginning of their career in service at boot camp all the way through retirement, while only having to purchase media through one company. With more than 11 million users engaged with both companies collectively, advertisers are able to target military audience segments in a more robust way.
