Sightline Media, publisher of Defense News, today announced that the media brand is the official strategic news partner of the 2019 Defence Security Equipment International (DSEI) exposition. As strategic news partner, the Defense News team of journalists will moderate various panel discussions alongside global defense and industry leaders, and will collaborate with DSEI to publish the Official DSEI E-Book on Transatlantic Defense Ties following the show. This year’s DSEI is happening on September 10-13 in London, England.
“DSEI provides a rare opportunity to connect with global leaders, across the various military domains, to discuss the latest trends in security among allies,” says Jill Aitoro, executive editor of Defense News. “We are incredibly honored to help facilitate some of these discussions.”
Joining Aitoro and the U.S.-based team of journalists in covering DSEI will be Andrew Chuter, Defense News U.K. bureau chief; and Europe Editor Sebastian Sprenger. This year’s real-time coverage will be available through a digital show daily at defensenews.com, featuring breaking news, interviews and videos direct from the expo. The Sept. 2 issue of Defense News will also be distributed at the show.
The Official DSEI E-Book on Transatlantic Defense Ties will pull together into a downloadable format the news and analysis stemming from the show on defense investment and modernization priorities on both sides of the Atlantic. It will be distributed after the event concludes to all DSEI registrants and the Defense News audiences worldwide.
